A Moroccan evening in Moreton-in-Marsh

I am very, very excited!

I’m finalising the details for our next pop-up restaurant which is taking place in Moreton-in-Marsh on Friday 20th May.

It’s special because of the collaborators involved. These are Oasis Events, Todenham Manor Farm, The Cotswold Cheese Company and Heady Communications

Firstly, Oasis will be transforming The WI Hall in Moreton-in Marsh into a spectacular “oasis” for the evening. We will be using meat from Todenham Manor Farm, a local company who supply the best ethically reared old spot pork and beef. The Cotswold Cheese Company can be found in Moreton, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford. Heady Communications is a specialist travel PR company based in Moreton.

The menu for the evening is as follows:

Lebanese chick pea and vegetable broth with Merguez sausage

Slow roast pork shoulder with harissa, cinnamon and bay
Saffron rice
Grilled chicory with sherry vinegar
Chopped salad with coriander
Potato tagine
Beetroot, cumin yoghurt
Pitta bread

Roast fresh figs, honey, pomegranate and Greek yoghurt

Spanish manchego, membrillo paste, crisp flatbreads and red chilli sauce

£40.00 per person including a welcome drink

I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Matt Laughton again. He is a talented chef who brings some great experience to the table.

The evening will kick off with a cocktail from 7.30pm with dinner commencing at 8pm. Service will be Moroccan style on tables of 8 and wine will be available to buy by the bottle.
