Moving on from a fabulous summer of FoodbyBazza

So here is a brief review of the the amazing chefs and restaurants who collaborated with FoodbyBazza and Barnbury to bring an eclectic collection of the best food experiences.

Simpsons Fish and Chips are often featured as providing some of the best Fish and Chips in the country. I can vouch for that!

The East India Cafe is a restaurant situated on The Promenade in Cheltenham. The Indian menu reflects the style of the British Raj. The most wonderful signature dish is Railway Lamb. It’s probably some of the best Indian food I have experienced.

Ellenborough Park Hotel and Spa and Executive Chef, David Kelman provided two unique experiences for the Secret Garden Series. The style of the menu and the service provided by the hotel reflected its exemplary quality.

It was a very lucky day when I first made contact with Alex Bond. Alex has a 3 star Michelin background, most significantly working as Sous Chef to Sat Bains at his restaurant in Nottingham. Alex provided another unique experience with a six course tasting menu with dishes such as Cauliflower and Roasted Yeast. Hot off the press: Alex will be launching his own restaurant in Nottingham later this year. He most definitely is a rising star so watch this space!

Moving on……

The Secret Garden Series followed the success of our on-going Parlour Series pop-up restaurants and we were so delighted with the events. Special thanks to all our collaborators above, to Robert Welch for their brilliant cutlery and to Barnbury for providing such a dreamy location in their Champagne Garden.

Most importantly thanks to all those who attended one, two or all of the events. I would really appreciate any comments you would like to make either on my website at or FoodbyBazza Facebook page.

We are currently researching locations and themes for another series. We welcome any suggestions you may have.

Don’t forget FoodbyBazza is also available to cater for your own private parties. If you are planning a party, we would love to talk to you about what we can do for you.

Another reminder…

On Sunday 11th September, Broadway Food Festival takes place on the village green. Each year the festival gets bigger and better with high quality, local food suppliers.

So come and join us!

Be back soon with some more foodie experiences.
